How it works

Muscle Shuffle is a fitness card game. Every workout grows a deck of exercise cards you collect, level up, and battle with. Here's the loop.

    Shuffle the deck

    Pick a workout type — push, pull, legs, full body. Muscle Shuffle deals you a deck of exercise cards tuned to your level, gear, and the muscles you've trained recently.

  2. 02

    Train the cards

    Work through the deck one card at a time. Log sets, reps, and weight as you go. Coach Maverick tracks volume so you progressively overload without burning out.

  3. 03

    Earn XP & rarities

    Every completed workout grows your collection. Common cards level into rare, epic, legendary, and mythic. Streaks multiply your XP.

  4. 04

    Battle friends

    Challenge your crew to head-to-head battles. Stake cards, claim wins, and climb the leaderboard.

  5. 05

    Open packs

    Spend earned currency on booster packs, seasonal drops, and elite founder packs. Rare exercise cards unlock new training stories.

Card rarities

Cards drop in five tiers — common, rare, epic, legendary, and mythic. Rarer cards earn more XP and unlock harder variations of the underlying exercise.

Gamification

Gamification can modestly but significantly increase physical activity, with meta-analyses showing small-to-medium effects on PA behavior in adults (Hedges g≈0.42) and small increases in moderate-to-vigorous physical activity in youth (SMD≈0.15).[1][3] Evidence on exercise adherence is more mixed: social and reward-based gamification can improve short-term adherence and continuance intention, but some reviews report that these effects often weaken over longer follow-up periods.[4][6] Overall, gamification features such as self‑monitoring, goal setting, rewards, and social interaction appear helpful for engagement and near‑term adherence, but they are not a guaranteed solution for sustained long‑term exercise maintenance.[1][3][4][6]
